Perfect Roasted Cauliflower

If you like roasted cauliflower that is deeply browned and crispy on the outside, this recipe is for you!

I prefer cauliflower simply roasted with salt and pepper, but you could easily include other spices, such as garlic and dried thyme, for added complexity. This recipe is high versatile.

Perfect Roasted Cauliflower

Yields 2 - 4 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 head medium cauliflower, core removed

  • 1 – 2 tablespoons olive oil or olive oil spray

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Method 

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Break cauliflower head into florets. Coat with olive oil. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Arrange on a cookie sheet in one even layer.

Transfer to the bottom rack in the oven and bake for approximately 15 minutes. Shake the pan to release the cauliflower. Bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until tender in the center with a dark brown crust on the outside.

Serve immediately and enjoy!
