Ingredients

  • 1 carton of eggs

  • Salt

Method

Place eggs in saucepan and cover with cold water until eggs are completely submerged.

Add salt and bring water to a boil. As soon as the water comes to a boil turn off the heat and cover the saucepan.

Set a timer for 8 minutes.

Prepare an ice bath. As soon as the timer goes off, remove the eggs from the water with a slotted spoon or mesh sieve. Transfer eggs directly to the ice bath to stop the cooking process.

Let the eggs sit in the ice bath for 10 - 15 minutes.

Enjoy immediately, or refrigerate and enjoy within one week.
